The next board meeting will be held during our annual conference at Lake Guntersville State Park on June 16, 2010. We will have our business meeting on the 16th and the next day, Thursday, June 17th, we will have a full day of training, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (Election of new officers to be held June 17th, at 9:00 a.m. prior to training.)
For our law enforcement officers who can not participate in our annual conference, please try to attend the training session, entitled Criminal Behavior Assessment, taught by Dr. Lou Harris, retired FBI and currently Chairman of the Criminal Justice Department at Faulkner University in Montgomery. This course is no cost to those who attend, as it is funded by an ADECA Law Enforcement/Traffic Safety sub grant, number 06-CK-TR-004, awarded to the Alabama Crime Prevention Clearinghouse at AUM.
