1st place:  Baylee Mellott of Muscle Shoals Middle School (to receive $300 and a $500 scholarship to Jacksonville State University);
2nd place:  Holly Miller, of Berry Middle School, in Hoover (to receive $200);
3rd place:  Haley Hancock, of Berry Middle School, in Hoover (to receive $125);
4th place:  Jamecia Minter, of J.A. Davis Middle School, in Bessemer (to receive $75)

1st place teacher, Mrs. Smith, of Muscle Shoals Middle School will receive $100 for classroom supplies

2nd place:  Isabella Durham, of Prattville Jr. High School, in Prattville (to receive $200);
3rd place:  Zach Palmer, of Prattville Jr. High School, in Prattville (to receive $125);
4th place:  Destiny Wilbourn, also of Prattville Jr. High School, in Prattville (to receive $75);
